Meet Characters of Character
All the cute Characters you see on this page are from the organization Characters of Character. Take a minute to check out the organization and see what they do, because they're making a difference, one child at a time.
What is Incredible Kids Day?
Incredible Kids Day was established in 1996 by an organization called Camp Fire USA. It's a day that is meant to show support to children. Give them words of encouragement, help them reach their goals, remind them just how special they truly are. Incredible Kids Day is meant to encourage interaction between parent (or adult) and the child. We all know how busy life can get and we can all relate to needing to work to put food on the table instead of being home spending that valuable time with your child. Use this day as a way to reconnect that incredible kid that you have or know.
Incredible Kids Day is celebrated nationally on the third Thursday of March every year.

Give them a card
Maybe you are crunched on time, or maybe you don't want to go overboard with this years Incredible Kids Day. One way to celebrate the incredible child in your life in a simple, inexpensive, way is to give them a handmade greeting card. Maybe you can slip it into his or her backpack for them to read at school, or leave it for them on the kitchen table for when they go to eat breakfast that morning. Here are some things that you could use to inspire what to write on your card...
- You make me smile because
- I am so proud of you!
- You are one incredible child and I couldn't be more proud to call you my son/daughter
- What makes you so incredible? (inside) Because you're you!
- Outstanding! (inside) That's what you are!
- Thanks for being you
- You are an incredible child!
- Thanks for brightening my day, everyday!
Remember, giving a card or writing a letter is something personal for the child receiving it. It's a special memento that they can keep to remind them just how special they are. Brighten a child's life by giving them a card to remind them just how incredible they really are!
