Abyssinian cats
The body of an Abyssinian has well-developed muscles, and its length is medium. The legs of the cat are slender in comparison to its body. The bone structure is fine; the paws are oval and small with a long and hairy tail. It has a broad head, and the eyes are almond shaped with the color of gold, green, or copper. In the forehead fur, there is an m-shaped marking. The coat of the cat is fine, short, and close-lying. The most common coat color of the Abyssinian cat is ruddy or usual. The base of the coat is warm and reddish brown, with black ticking. There is an another popular color of these kind of cats, which is sorrel, and has a cinnamon base, the ticking, legs and the paw pads are chocolate brown.
The blue Abyssinian has become very common these days. It has a base color, which is light beige. The ticking, backs of the legs and the paw pads are blue. Among the breeds, the silver Abyssinian is different from them. The color of the Silvers is purely sliver. The marking of the coats include blue, black, cinnamon and warm dark cream. The rare colors of the Abyssinian cats are red, chocolate, cream, lilac, and tortoiseshell. These kinds of Abyssinian cats are found in a small portion in Holland and UK.
Temperament is a very important thing in a cat. You can like or dislike a cat because of its temperament. Abyssinian cats are very extrovert in nature. They are also very intelligent and willful. But, these cats cannot be called lap cats because they are very much occupied with themselves in playing and exploring. It is their natural habit to do such things. They will not sit in a place for some time. For that reason, they may be called restless. They are called Abys by their affectionate fans. They have a tendency to become depressed without attention and daily activity. That is why they must be kept in contact with the family. The Abyssinian cats are very extrovert; they go very well with other kinds of cats. But they also need some private space for themselves. Female Abyssinians can get irritated with other cats. They are famous for their exploring nature and curiosity. They have a curiosity regarding heights. But they do not take unnecessary risks. They are sensible and instinctive; they go according to their rationality.
