I started with the acai berry diet about 3 months ago and I have already lost 22lbs. I know there are a lot of people with a lot of different opinions about diet pills and stuff. I just want to say, that no matter what I hear from anyone else, I know for a fact that losing weight is possible if you just stick to your diet plan and don't cheat.

My 5 best tips for staying healthy 

1. Eat healthy. Get lots of fiber. Apples, Beans, Oats, Whole Wheat Cereals.
2. Physical Activity. This doesn't mean "exercise". Just get out the house! Walk a dog, park in the BACK of the parking lot when you go to the store, whatever... Just get out there and do stuff.
3. Take the right health supplements. In my case, I chose to go with the acai berry supplements.
4. Don't cheat. Too many people say to themselves "Well I'll just eat what I want on weekends, that won't hurt anything." But that is wrong. Stick to the plan and don't let that little voice in the back of your mind sway you.
5. Stay smart! A healthy body and a healthy mind go hand in hand. Read a book instead of watch TV. Get the creative side of your brain working by drawing a painting. Combine your hand-eye coordination and improve reflexes with a game of ping pong!

I definitely think that you need to stick to your weight-loss plan and never skimp on taking whatever diet supplement you are taking. Taking a break for even a day is the start of a slippery slope of bad habits and is the #1 reason why so many people don't lose weight with their diets.

Here is a little background on where the acai berry comes from

An açaí palm, or aqai, (, aa-sigh-ee) is one of several species of palm tree in the genus Euterpe cultivated for their fruit and superior hearts of palm. The species Euterpe oleracea is usually called Açaí Palm, after the European adaptation of the Tupian word ïwasai, that cries or expels water'. Global demand for the fruit has expanded rapidly in recent years, and açaí is now cultivated for that purpose primarily. The closely-related species Euterpe edulis (jucara) is now predominantly used for hearts of palm.

Eight species are native to Central and South America, from Belize southward to Brazil and Peru, growing mainly in swamps and floodplains. Açaí palms are tall, slender palms growing to 15-30 meters, with pinnate leaves up to 3 meters long.
