Most Artists and Collectors alike, prefer their artwork to be placed in some type of protected sleeve. Some use the soft sleeves that baseball cards come in, but the majority use the
Rigid Top Loaders, which is also my preference.

How to frame your artwork - The first step- Purchase Supplies - Card Stock
An easy and affordable solution
There are many different ways to frame your artwork as I will show you in the sections below. But I wanted to share an idea on an easy and affordable way to frame your artwork.
The first step is to purchase some cardstock in different colors, so that you will have a variety to chose from. You can find these in most department stores, or where ever you buy your paper normally.
I choose pastel lilac, blue, green and pink for my first batch.
How to frame your artwork - Step 2- Purchase Supplies - Corner Cutter
The next step would be to purchase a corner cutter. These can be found where you find Scrap Booking supplies, and start around $5.00.
They look like these:

There is many different designs.
Corner Cutter
You have to be sure to get the kind of corner cutter that makes a fancy design and leave a little slot to slide your artwork into.

How to frame your artwork - Step 3- Cut your paper to the proper size
The size you want will depend on what you are going to be putting in the frame.
For the Rigid Top Loaders that I have, I found that if I cut my paper to 2 7/8" x 5", it worked best for me. But be sure once you cut the first one, to make sure it will work for your artwork before cutting the rest out.
If you are not using a Rigid top loader, but a soft sleeve, you will need to make your frames a little smaller.
For cutting my paper, you can use the same type of cutter used for scrapbooking.
How to frame your artwork - Step 4- Cut The Corners
This is the easy part!
Make sure you are on a hard surface such as a table.
WARNING: DO NOT HOLD THE CUTTER IN YOUR HAND WHILE CUTTING IT - SHARP BLADES POP OUT THE BOTTOMJust slide you paper into the corner of the cutter, making sure it fits snugly against the guides. Like this:

Press down firmly, then pull the paper out and you know have a beautiful corner cut like this:

Cut all four corners and slip your card into the corner slots like this:

You now have a beautifully framed card:

Displaying Your Newly framed Artwork
There are many ways you can display your artwork with these types of cardstock frames.
They are rigid enough to just sit on a shelf, leaned up against something.
They can be placed in different types of easels,

or those plastic plate holders.

or you can use them as a type of matting, that will hold your picture well in a slightly larger frame.

You can even use them to make frames in a scrapbook full of your collected ACEO's or ATC's. Here are a few examples of scrapbook pages with the artwork displayed. You can add the little notes, certificate of authenticities, stamps from other countries, or whatever you desire.

There are some great frames too
ACEO's look great in frames, that are just the perfect size, or matted.
Below you will find many different types of frames, matting, easels and more.
