One of my personal favorite home remedies is Tea Tree oil. I get a little
panicky when my supply starts to run low, I use it for so many things, that I
really miss it when I run short of this little wonder.



This stuff is without a doubt one of the most amazing substances on the planet.
Its origins began in the Australian outback, were the aboriginal people used Tea
tree oil for hundreds of years, the oil is extracted through the distillation of
the bark of the Melaleuca tree. The amazing thing about Tea tree oil is the fact
that this stuff hasn't gotten a lot more publicity then it has.



When you consider the wide range of conditions and problems this stuff solves. I
think a lot of the reasons that Tea Tree oil treats so many ailments are the
facts, that it is a strong antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, and fungicide.



Tea Tree Oil is very effective for acne control for skin, it works as good or
better then some of the very expensive drugs you purchase from the pharmacy.
When ever anyone decides to try Tea Tree oil for the first time, it's a good
idea to just try a little bit on a small part of some skin on your arm or some
part of your body.



To make sure you are not one of the small numbers of people that have a reaction
to it. It has been shown in some studies to react with some people, and they
will sometimes develop a rash from the use of Tea Tree. But those numbers are
small. But if you find that you don't have a reaction to Tea Tree oil, then Tea
tree oil is the answer for acne control for skin.



If you should decide to use Tea Tree oil as acne control for skin, the
application of its use is pretty easy. You can take a cotton swab soak part of
the swab in Tea Tree oil. Then dab this on the effected area, repeating this a
few times a day. And you should have a pleasant surprise in a day or two.

A lot of school kids get hair louse or lice however you like to pronounce it.
This can be a real nightmare and especially if you have a little girl with long
hair. But believe it or not there is a very effective treatment for this hair
louse problem, and you don't need to go through this nightmare of using harsh
and dangerous chemicals to get rid of these little buggers and not your kids.




Here is what you do; you get yourself a large cup of vegetable oil. Any kind of
vegetable oil works. The next thing you do is pour into the oil a tablespoon of
Tea Tree oil and mix it up in a bowl or container of some kind. Now you soak the
child's hair with this mixture.



I would suggest the person getting this treatment have some old top or something
on, so you don't destroy your clothing. Also when mixing the oil mixture into
the hair, be sure that there is no part of the hair left dry. Every inch has to
be covered in the oil mixture. If you get short on mixture ad more oil into the
mix.



After you have the hair covered in oil, leave the mixture in the hair for about
30 minutes or so. Then go and wash the hair with your regular shampoo to get rid
of the heavy part of the oil mix. Only wash the hair once then put on a shower
cap or something on the child's hair after it dries. This for protecting the
furniture and any thing else that might come in contact with the hair.



After 8 hours or so, wash the child's hair again to get the rest of the oil out.
The reason this works is the tea tree oil kills on contact any adult hair louse,
as well as any that are newly hatched. The oil coats the eggs and the breathing
apparatus (spiracle) of hair louse. So the eggs as well as any remaining hair
louse die from suffocation.



This treatment is very effective, and has the benefit of not exposing the person
to useless treatments, and reduces the likelihood of any problems from the use
of chemicals. After the treatment you should get a comb for removing the hair
louse eggs, while the hair is still wet.
