Artists have a wide variety of media to choose from when deciding which medium they want to use to convey their message. This lens will focus on only one, arcrylic paintings.

Acrylics are great to use because they dry quickly, but you need to be capable of working with a little speed. Acrylics are extremely versatile, fast-drying paints, and can be used straight from the tube like oils or thinned with water or a medium and used like watercolors. And a lot in-between. Guy has a God-given gift and he produces beauty that reflects his spirit and God,
who gave him his gift. His style is eclectic. He does not allow the "rules" to bind
him. Guy lets the subject matter and the medium dictate
the "style" employed. He works mainly in acrylic and watercolor.

Atonement

Atonement, Acrylic painting symbolically representing
how Christ willingly went to the cross in place of us.

Itaya Lightbourne

Itaya is a self taught artist and has been painting off and on
for the past 15 years. Her experience is primarily in oils
and landscapes. Seeking a new challenge, she has
branched out with abstract art and acrylics, both of which
she is enjoying very much.

Dawns Early Light Painting

This print is from an abstract painting called 'Dawns Early Light'.
It is filled with very vibrant colors and reminds one of winter.
The tall skinny trees are capped with white foliage and the
sun is rising and shining over the forest floor.
The colors are teal, aqua, green, yellow, white and brown.

A 'parent tree' and a 'baby tree' stand side by side against
a very colorful sky and horizon. The colors are
aqua, red, purple, pink, blue, rust, and brown.

Yvonne Ayoub

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, of Austrian and English descent,
Yvonne Ayoub is an award-winning UNESCO artist,
classically trained in the Performing and Creative Arts.
After a successful career as a ballet dancer, performing on stage & television and teaching dance for many years, she, with her Lebanese husband, built and ran a successful, London-based Print and Design company. The one constant in her life, from her earliest years, has been her passion for painting and drawing.
Today, as full-time established artist, illustrator and muralist, Yvonne works mostly to commission, in a wide variety of media, using a broad range of artistic disciplines.
Yvonne runs a new ART CENTRE for PAINTING HOLIDAYS, CREATIVE WORKSHOPS & ARTIST RETREAT
