He or she will then places physical pressure using their hand, elbow, foot or tool on different meridian points on the body.

What are meridians?

Acupressure identifies twelve major meridians in human body.

A meridian is a pathway for chi or life force energy throughout the system. Any break or disruption in the flow indicates an imbalance.

Acupresure is based on the belief that, an insufficient supply of chi makes a person unhealthy, sluggish and prone to illness.

Acupresure removes disruptions in the flow of chi which restores the natural balance of the body and promotes a state of wellness.
