How to Test Your Adsense Web Pages to Maximize Your Income

Testing your Adsense web pages to make your ads are profitable

To test your Adsense web pages to make your ads profitable, the first thing you need to do is analyze the keywords in your website content. If you want to make money with Adsense ads, you need to include keywords that not only drive traffic to your website, but also help Adsense generate high quality ads that people will want to click on.
There are several excellent online tools that you can use to find good keywords for the content on your Adsense web pages. Use these tools to identify keywords that are product oriented, and that many internet users are looking for. For example, if you are interested in snowboarding, you might include keywords like "Burton snowboards", "cheap snowboards", and "discount snowboards". Adsense will pick up on these keywords, and generate ads that will give readers an immediate opportunity to buy snowboards. This will make visitors naturally want to click on your Adsense ads, so you will make more money.
Once you find keywords that will maximize revenue from your Adsense ads, use only one or two keywords per page, with a keyword density of between 1% and 4%. Then, test your Adsense web pages by monitoring your income from each page via your Adsense dashboard. You will be able to easily see which pages are generating the most income, and which pages are delivering substandard results.
Another way to test your Adsense web pages is to try placing your ads in different locations on each page. Many website owners place their Adsense ads in the same position on each page, so they have no way to find out which ad positions generate the most income. You can place the ads at the top of one page, in a sidebar on a second page, and between paragraphs on a third page. Again, you will want to monitor your income results from each page to see which ad positions work best for you.
A third way to test your Adsense web pages is to use different ad configurations on each web page. You can create ad blocks with up to four ads each; however, in some cases, an Adsense ad block with only one or two ads will generate more clicks than a block with four ads. Also, some pages are more profitable when you use a horizontal ad block, while others make more money with vertical ad blocks. If you find that a particular page is not making as much money as you would like, change the configuration of your Adsense ads on that page, and continue to test your Adsense web pages to see if your income increases.

NatChar says:

Adsense is still a very profitable business if you know how to get the right traffic. But in saying that, there are some really good alternatives to adsense that are cutting into their marketing share.

AdSenseSecrets says:

There are a lot of "mysteries" and "stories" about Google and AdSense.
The only question I ask myself is: "Why Google invented AdSense in the first place?" and the answer is of course: To make money!

No

mywebgal says:

Adsense is alive and well and will stay that way. Yeah! Adsense publishers are a huge asset to Google and as long as the site or blog sporting Adsense is of quality and is useful to people, Google will love each and every one of them, and the publishers. Still a lot of money to be made with Google and while there are other avenues, none of them come close to Google. Good discussion topic!
