Curriculum Supplements for Tapestry of Grace

The award-winning, Tapestry of Grace homeschoool curriculum doesn't cover everything so this lens suggests science, math and grammar curriculum choices you might want to consider.

What is not in the Tapestry of Grace home school curriculum

...and it doesn't cover everything

But, since it covers so much of the core home school curriculum, you should have some fun picking out the items it doesn't cover. Here's a list of curriculum subjects you will have to provide and a couple of suggestions of what you might consider for your home school.
  • Math:

There are some great math programs out there and a couple of lenses on the subject.

Our choice: Math-U-See. Any one who can show me how to do quadratic equations using blocks, gets my vote! Check out Steven Demme's Math-U-See practical math program.

Don't miss the Squidoo Lens on Math-U-See!

Another option I've seen lately is Teaching Textbooks Check this one out as I"ve heard great comments and rave reviews about this math curriculum.
  • Science:

Our choice: Because I'm actually a scientist myself, I've chosen the Noeo Homeschool Science Curriculum . As I researched alternatives, this included many of the books I had marked as ones I'd like to use. I also like that they have complete science kits available to purchase. (And the fact that it is another award winner!)
  • Grammar:

I've heard good things about Shurley English for Homeschool Grammar, and have finally chosen this as our homeschool grammar program. Check it out!
