Aerogarden Classic vs. Prepara Power Plant Professional

When it comes to deciding on which indoor garden is right for you, there is a major influence in your decision making. The price of an item can make all the difference. No one wants to splurge on something that may not hold their interest. But this is just one of the factors in your decision. Just because something is cheap doesn't make it less worthy than something that costs more. Also something that is expensive may not be as great as another item that is cheaper.

You don't have to settle just because something is out of your price range. Save up for the item. Or wait until things are better financially. You don't have to give up the things you want, you just need to be creative.

When it comes to indoor gardening you should decide on what suits you best based on your gardening experience. I've had some experience when it comes to gardens and i still chose the easier to use Aerogarden. The machine does most of the work for me. The seed kits even comes ready to just plug in and are selected and quality assured. All I had to do is plug and fill the machine with water. I set it on the light cycle for the kit and just kept it filled with water. I personally prefer this for it's ease of use.

The Prepara Power Plant Professional model is definitely for someone who has more experience gardening or you could just wing it. You have to supply the seeds yourself. Some seeds may not grow for you if you don't choose high quality seeds from a reputable company. This model also doesn't come with a growling lamp. You have to find a sunny spot to keep your plants growing. That can be an issue when it comes to space. You can buy a grow lamp for this, but I've read the reviews and they aren't that great. Maybe they will have it fixed soon.

The Aerogarden Classic is a bit hefty when it comes to size. The lamp is adjustable also which makes it that much taller as your plants grow. This can cause an issue in small kitchens. There are smaller versions that are made for small kitchens. Also Aerogarden has accessories that will help make room for your plants. This makes it very versatile. You can even have your Aerogarden hanging on your wall. Now that's space saving.

The Prepara Power Plant Professional is smaller in size compared to the Aerogarden. This can be useful for someone with a small kitchen, but it also limits you in many ways. You don't have the growing lamp as I've mentioned before and that in itself can cause issues since you have to keep it in sunlight or you have to buy the lamp. It's up to you to decide which will fit in your kitchen better.

They both have the good qualities, but it's up to you to decide which one is really the right one for you. Visually I would choose the Prepara. Ease of use would have me picking the Aerogarden. And we all know that when it comes to price most of us would pick the Prepara. Size isn't such an issue with me since I can hang my Aerogarden on the wall and not be bothered. The Prepara has the no lamp issue and would bring the price up and make me still decide upon the Aerogarden. So hands down I choose the Aerogarden.
