I am a busy health professional during the day, so I choose to work my affiliate marketing business at night when all's quiet and I can really think. I've had good success with article marketing, but my campaigns have gone into overdrive when I began using strategies that are repeatable over and over. Prior to this I was writing furiously with no particular plan of action other than random tips I've read from all of the "gurus" of affiliate marketing.

This lens will cover some of the strategies I've learned and reveal a little about my plan of action which has helped my campaigns tremendously and keeps me organized, one week at a time.

Affiliate Article Marketing -- Time Savers 

Below are a few time savers for those of us who do not have much time:

  • Keep a folder on your computer desktop labeled "Affiliate Marketing"


  • Make subfolders under this folder including 1) Campaigns (with sub-folder "Articles"), 2)Tools and Education (for all of your acquired ebooks and educational articles, 3) Campaign Spreadsheets (to list your hoplinks (with tracking IDs) or other affiliate codes, 4) And one folder for your images (easiest to use just one folder


  • Keep a small notebook with you at all times. Write down article ideas as they come into your head.


  • Use your lunch hour to write articles.


  • Write all of your articles (including title) in a standard text editor such as NotePad.


  • Include all of your resource boxes (including html codes) at the bottom of your articles.


  • Include your keywords (comma separated) before the title.


  • Keep one notepad full of often-used html codes for copying and pasting


  • Organize your Bookmarks into sections including 1) Article directories, 2) Social bookmark sites, 3) Search pages for your keywords, 4) Keyword tools
