In an effort to provide affiliates with marketing support, most merchants today offer a special "affiliate tools" page. This page will usually consist of pre-written emails, articles, PPC ads, banners, etc. to support you.
But how does this help a complete newbie?
Simply put, it doesn't. People just starting out generally don't understand how to use these support tools, and end up failing miserably. It's like going to school without a teacher. All the tools in the world aren't going to help you without someone showing you how to use them.
Besides just reading, people need to be shown something in order to learn it. Some years ago, learning how to market using tools like the ones mentioned above was a daunting task. People would read book after book, and guide after guide,
and through "trial and error" only sometimes find success. Most times not.

Using sites such as Youtube.com people can watch and learn how to do just about anything.
Besides Youtube and related sites, there are several "video tutorial" products made specifically to support you in your Affiliate Marketing success. Like with anything else, some of these products are very good, and some are absolutly horrible. Choosing the right product can sometimes be confusing.

A Few Tips.........
First: If the product is claiming to show you a "step by step" tutorial, be sure that it includes some sort of legitimate proof that the methods actually work.
Second: Do your own research on the specific product. Go to google.com and type in the product name. Most times, if its a popular product, their will be many reviews from people who have already purchased.
