If you so choose to read Affirmational Proverbs, the suggested reading is a chapter a day, twice a day. For instance, once in the morning and again at night. It works well to begin Chapter 1 on the first day of the month, Chapter 2 on the second day of the month, and so on. On the months that have less than 31 days, read the extra chapters on the last day of the month, and beginning again with Chapter 1 on the first of the month, etc.

What I usually do is read the chapter out loud and then again silently. And I have also been writing it out long hand as I have been creating Affirmational Proverbs. My strongest suggestion to you is to do what works for you, and then to keep doing it.

God created wisdom first of all, the first of God's words long ago.

Wisdom was made in the very beginning at the first, before the world began.

Wisdom was born before the oceans, when there were no springs of water.

Wisdom was born before the mountains, before the hills were set in place.

Before God made the earth and its' fields or even the first handful of soil.

Wisdom was there when God set the sky in place, when God stretched the horizon across the ocean.

When God placed the clouds in the sky, when God opened the springs of the ocean.

When God gave the sea the decree, that the waters should not pass his commandments; when God laid the earths foundations.

Then wisdom was by God as one brought up with him, and wisdom was daily God's delight, rejoicing always before him.

Happy with the world and pleased with the human race.
