In 2004 David Boonshoft purchased Alex Aguilar's shares and became the sole owner of Aguilar Amplification. On Mr. Aguilar's departure, Geof Lipman became Chief Technical Officer. He is known at Aguilar Amplification as an engineer who can "bring to life" the musical ambitions of David Boonshoft and his associate, Dave Avenius (Chief Operating Officer).
