AK'SENT - YOUNG FEMALE RAPPER

Ak'sent is a female rapper of Mexican descent born on May 29, 1987. She was raised in Los Angeles and she had a difficult childhood. Her father, an aspiring rapper, was shot when she was just 4 and she was sent to live with her grandparents in LA South Central. She grew up between gospel and church values. She was signed by Capitol Records at the age of 16.

The first single off Ak'sent's debut album is called ZINGY.

To date Ak'sent has released a solo album called INTERNATIONAL.

Her cover of the song "Jump" by Kris Kross is called "Krunk Krunk".
