Alkaine - you eat mostly fruit and vegetables, with at least 80% of your foods being alkaline. You also either eat mostly raw foods or lightly steam. Your drinks tend to be freshly juiced vegetables and fruits plus water with a pH of at least 7.5
Acidic - you eat a lot of cooked processed foods that contain sugar and additives. You either don't eat many fruit or vegetables or the vegetables you do eat are cooked. You drink more coffee, tea, and fizzy drinks than water (and your water is either tap or below pH of 7.5)

(1) Drink lots of alkalizing water - 1 litre for every 30lbs of your body weight. It takes time to drink the recommended intake so start off slow and build up gradually to your ideal amount. This helps to flush out the toxins and fat and cravings!

- It's ironic that a nation as wealthy as the U.S.A. should have such an epidemic of poor nutrition and diet-related illness. Obesity, diabetes, heart disease you nme it. It's so hard to convince most people that their dietary haqbits have consequences. All hail fig bars!
