However, more and more rubber stamp stores are selling unmounted rubber stamps and a few of those carry acrylic mounts. By selling the entire unmounted rubber stamp sheet, the manufacturer can provide an even lower price per stamped image than individual unmounted rubber stamps.
Some stampers permanently mount their rubber stamps on wood. Others temporarily mount their unmounted rubber stamps on Acrylic Mounts as they use the stamps
One of the most important differences in rubber stamps has to do with how deeply etched the image is or the distance between the part of the stamp that touches your paper and the base of the rubber. If you own rubber stamps that are not deeply etched, you may find that you get better images by using dye inkpads and being careful to keep the stamp flat when inking and not rocking.
Buying unmounted Rubber Stamps is so easy online. Of course they weigh less and when they arrive the stamper can cut them up and mount them any way she likes.
Having the stamps delivered direct to your home is another great benefit of buying the Stamps online

The first part of the book concentrates on getting started with jewelry making which includes wire basics such as jump rings, eye pins, bead connections, etc. The rest of the book has clear cut instructions for making great rubber stamped jewelry out of glass, polymer clay, fun foam, copper and many other surfaces. The instructions are well written and they are best used by crafters who already have a knowledge of working with the materials used in the projects.
