What is This Succulent??
The aloe plant dates back centuries. Sumerian clay tablets have indicated that the plant was used for a laxative as far back as 2200 B.C. Archeology digs continually discover indications of the increasing usage of this plant.
The aloe plant was processed for export around 400 B.C. with the boiled sap being a major product. The Arab nations extensively traded this plant throughout Asia which introduced the plant into India where it is still harvested extensively as both an internal and external healing agent.
It is generally understood the plant was introduced as a laxative by a Greek physician around 50 B.C. This allowed the product to be further exported to the Europe area as man continued to trade.
Reading the Bible you will find "aloes" also used during this time period. Reading John 19:39 indicates that once Jesus had died Nicodemus prepared the body with a mixture of myrhh and aloes using about seventy- five pounds.
The plant continued to spread in usage with trade to other areas of the earth increasing. Although there have been times in history the popularity of Aloe Vera as a healing plant has waned it has never completely lost its attraction. And while the plant has yet to win the endorsement of the medical community it is still popular as a homeopathic remedy for many ailments and injuries.
The Medical Wonder Plant
Everything old is new again.
Mankind has thousands of years invested in the understanding of Aloe Vera. While there are around 400 species of this plant the Barbadensis Miller (or "true aloe vera") has proven to be of the most use to mankind. This plant grows to about thirty inches tall with the lower mature leaves remain approximately three to five inches. It is this lower leaf that is generally used for the medicinal qualities. The leaf is structured in layers. The outer layer is the rind. This is the tough thicker layer that protects the leaf from external damage and assists in fluid retention of the plant. The next layer is the sap. This is the layer you do not want to taste as it is definitely bitter. This bitterness aids the plant with protection from animal damage.
The inner layer is the mucilage gel that is extracted to produce Aloe Vera gel, from which most of the benefits of the plant are extracted.
The last thing we need to know about how Aloe Vera is constructed prior to exploring usages is that it tastes HORRIBLE. Not quite the item you want to use as an after dinner mint. Taste taken into consideration the oral usage of this plant has been limited to processed products. Either that or to individuals with a very strong gag reflex or lack of taste buds.
So on we go to explore processed uses for this plant.
Mystical and Marvelous
The "Burn Plant" The "Miracle Plant" The "Natural Healer" The "Ancient Healer" The "Modern Healer"
All of the above are TRUE!!!
The Unseen Healers of Alow Vera
The Contents of The Inner Gel
An excellent way to write a long and dreary paragraph or two is to explain the ingredients of the Aloe Vera inner gel. However boring as it is the necessity is before us so here we go.Amino acids. There are twenty amino acids involved in metabolism in the human body. Problem is we can only make twelve of these so proper diet is necessary to give us the other eight. Guess what---inner gel contains all eight of these acids. Listing here is monotony but necessary. They are Leucone, lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Valine and Tryptophan. Only one I recognize is Tryptophan and we know it comes from foods such as turkey and has the making of a natural sedative. With the other seven I leave you unto your own curiosity and stubbornness to search out.
Enzymes, you bet. Somewhere around eleven contained in the inner gel. A few of those would be Amylase, Catalase, Lipase, and Oxidase. All very romantic names and as before you can search on your own. However it is necessary that these also are necessary for proper utilization of the human body in the method known as LIFE.
Then we can go on to discuss the mineral content of this plant. It is not necessary to tell you that the Western diet is extremely deficient in minerals. Bodily functions are dependent on minerals for proper working, and metabolism of vitamins is critical to the presence of certain minerals. And we can include vitamins in the gel to include among them vitamin A.
I could keep on listing ingredients of the inner gel and do absolutely nothing but bore you to sleep. Then you would not need the Tryptophan and you would miss the rest of this lens!!
Will include, however, Mono- and Poly-Saccharides which we know as sugars. Some of the complex sugars of Aloe Veera (poly-saccharides) are what is thought to give the plant most of its healing and immuno-stimulating qualities.
Let us not neglect Salicylic Acid, which we are familiar with as a compound close to aspirin. Nor do we forget Saponins which give the leaves their soapy quality which have both cleansing and antiseptic properties. And before we close this boring module we need to include Sterols, which are naturally occurring steroids with anti-inflammatory and antiseptic qualities.
WHAT A PLANT!!!! No wonder it is often referred to as the miracle plant or the burn plant. Quite possibly a medicine cabinet in a pot of dirt!!
What to DO About It???
The workings of Aloe Vera
We already know it has been used for centuries. Now we need to explore a bit of that usage. Derivatives of the plant can be used internally or externally. Creams, lotions, drinks, and jellies to name a few. It has been put on insect bites, rashes, burns, and on scars to speed up the healing process of surgical procedures.
No need to explore the external usages as they are apparent. Rip a leaf off, break it in half and start rubbing over the affected area. Repeat as necessary and be consistent in bragging to your neighbors and family as to the wonders of the plant.
Internal. This plant tastes HORRIBLE
No new knowledge here. Problem solved with commercial preparation. The base ingredients of the plant can be converted to lotions, creams, pills or sprays. Lotions, sprays and creams do not lend themselves to internal usage. Leaving us the pill!
Taken orally Aloe Vera has shown to work on heartburn, arthritis, lowering blood sugar, congestion, stomach ulcers, hemorrhoids (whoops!!), urinary tract infections, indigestion and promise in the treatment of AIDS and some types of cancer. Could go on and on but the need here is to bring this to your attention and then it is your job to decide the proper form and presentation for your situation.
Bottom line of this lens is to introduce you to Aloeride. This product is presently the worlds only aloe vera product made to pharmaceutical GMP (good manufacturing practice). What does this mean to you?? Be assured that lengthy research went into this product prior to release to the public. This research and development has created the product to ease the discomfort of various digestion conditions, skin ailments and enhance general well being.
I could continue to pour out lengthy benefits of this product, but for simplicity I will just point out a thing or two. Processed from Aloe Vera Barbadensis (which we discovered before is the true aloe vera) Aloeride contains 180 mg. of powder per gelatin capsule. Contains a processing aid know as Silicon Dioxide in the amount of 1.5 mg. which aids in the ability of the capsule to absorb water and dissolve. A very good quality of Aloeride is that all laxative agents have been removed. No surprises in that department!!! And finally, there are no fillers, additives or preservatives in the product which helps maintain its pure state.
So the deal, of course if for you to pick up an order or two of this marvelous (always wanted to type that work in this type situation!!) product. Follow directions for an intake regime and see what happens. The best thing would be some relief of all the conditions described above. And the Worst?? The worst thing would be that you request a refund. Worst for two reasons. First of all you would not get the benefits of Aloeride and secondly I would be out the commission!!
So remember-----Aloeride
