Festivals

April 17 each year marks the anniversary of American Samoa becoming a U.S. Territory and heralds the biggest event on the South Pacific Island's calendar. It was on this date in 1900 that Captain B. F. Tilley of the U.S. Navy raised the American Flag on Samoan soil and American Samoa as a U.S. Territory was born.

The sixty thousand odd population of American Samoa commemorate Flag Day with traditional dancing and singing, colorful parades and Fautasi - longboat - racing, with the American Samoan flag flying from all public buildings.

Tutors use TutorSage for online tutoring

How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you cancel a paying plan within 30 days of signing up you won't be charged a thing. If you do choose to cancel your account in the future you will never be charged again. Refunds can not be issued after your initial 30 day trial and we don't prorate for partial months.

Do I get a 30-day free trial if I upgrade from free plan to paying at a later date?
If you upgrade from a free account to a pay account, you are not eligible for the 30-day free trial. The 30-day free trial on paying plans only applies if you sign up for a paying plan now.

Is this a long-term commitment? Can we pay a year in advance?
Tutor Sage is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long term contracts of commitments on your part. If you cancel, you won't be billed again but your current month is not prorated.

Can I change plans at any time?
Yes - and it's really easy. Simply click on the "Subscription" tab on the "Admin" tab and you'll see your options. Plus, we'll never hit you up with a "set-up" or extra "one-time" fee when you upgrade.

What types of payment do you accept? Will you take a P.O.? Can you invoice us?
Currently we accept Visa and Mastercard. At this time we only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.

What is Tutor Sage?
Tutor Sage starts you tutoring online and expands your tutor business. Tutor Sage gives you the professional tools you need to tutor online and consists of three major components:
1. Your own online tutoring system includes a whiteboard designed specifically for tutoring and integrated chat panel.
2. Instant Math Help extends your services to students 24/7 to help with their math homework.
3. All of Tutor Sage's services are private labeled in your name. You even set your own price and specify your tutoring style for Instant Math Help.

Why do I need an online tutoring system?
Every tutor knows the pain from scheduling a session and the student can not come due to the flu or transportation problems. When a student can't make the in-person session, you can still tutor with your online whiteboard system and you don't lose an hour of income. But even better, Tutor Sage lets you extend your business into new areas with 24/7 math homework coverage.

How do I increase my tutoring income?
Tutor Sage lets you tutor students that you normally would not be able to teach in person and also allows you to add more tutors to your business easily.

But perhaps more importantly, you can now add Instant Math Help-the most requested service by students on the internet. If your students are in 7th grade or above, your students are constantly in need of math homework help. Providing Instant Math Help is an easy way to increase your tutoring income.

What is Instant Math Help?
Instant Math Help is 24/7 coverage for math homework questions for your students. The service is instant with having to make an appointment. Students love Instant Math Help because it helps them when they are doing their homework.

Our tutors are in effect "working for you". You can specify the style of tutoring as well as review all the sessions. You can augment the questions the student asked with Instant Math Help in your own one-on-one tutoring sessions.

Not only do you earn significant revenue from Instant Math Help, once you enroll a student, this student is yours for life. For example, you might tutor an eight grade student in algebra 1 but not afterwards. That student can continue to use your Instant Math Help all the way through college and you will continue to receive your royalty from those sessions.

What does private label do for me?
All of the systems are labeled with your name. Your students will see this service as your service. Tutor Sage brings a professional image to your tutoring.

What is the difference between the free and the paid versions?
The free version is a great way to get started. You get your own personal webpage for online tutoring and the online whiteboard and chat system. The biggest difference is that you won't be able to set your own price for the 24/7 Instant Math Help or receive royalties with the paid version.

For your students, the paid versions' biggest advantage is the student can go back and review prior sessions before a test.
