Ahh Waterfalls--Nature's Biggest Wonders!

Want to know about one of natures greatest wonders? Want to know the secret behind waterfall's benefits? Why there is a reason why I like waterfalls? Why I find them calming! Why waterfalls are relaxing and are a great stress reliever. Why they are also great to watch!

I always thought there was something to watching waterfalls and I've recently found out there are therapeutic benefits to being near waterfalls. It has to do with the thousands of negative hydrogen ions created by splitting water molecules. This increases the Serotonin level on the blood and Serotonin is thought to play an important part in shaping mood. Now in addition to waterfall benefits, there are more reasons, see below, why I like waterfalls. And if I can't get to a waterfall, Lincoln Center has always done the trick for me. I just like waterfalls. When I watch one of natures greatest wonders, I feel happy and strong.

Now if I was to actually visit waterfalls to experience the secret behind their benefits, here is one place I would definitely go Rainforest Waterfalls in Australia. Take a Waterfall Picture tour for free! View the waterfalls! Have a blast and enjoy!

Lincoln Center Water Foutain

My best and cheapest therapy for depression!

Years ago, when I was depressed or felt sad, the closest substitute for a waterfall was the water fountain at Lincoln Center. I would sit by the fountains for hours and people watch as I wished for better days.

The longer I sat by the fountain and watch people walk by, the better I felt. I visualize things getting better for me. Until it became crystal clear that the possibility of better days were not too far off! Then I would leave with renewed hope.

Whenever, I was depressed or sad again, I was back at the water fountain at Lincoln Center with my same ritual. Now I understand, this is definitely the result of the negative ions effect on the Serotonin levels on the blood.

Waterfalls are nature's biggest wonder, what your say?

"Swirls of antique stained glass, blazes of brass, forests of carved wood and waterfalls of crystal combine to make up the city's most fabulously festive interior."
