    this isn't a review of the product, it's a review of the features of the product. did you actually use it, install it on anything? how did it work? pretty disappointing as it's not easy to find an actual review of the product itself. considering going all-in with this but some of the comments have me second guessing and visiting competitors' websites.

    I have had no problems with anonymizer. In fact my computer crashed and lost everything which was my fault. But my point is I went to my Anonymizer account and downloaded the program again and viola, back to protection surfing, with no problems.

    BEWARE!! I have been a long time user of this software (paid the initial year price of 79.99 and the continued use of it for 29.99/yr). I recently had a computer crash and waited 2 weeks to receive my replacement followed by almost 2 more weeks to install all of my programs. When I re-installed Anonymizer Universal it told me that my subscription had expired less than a month ago. I contacted them, explained the situation, and told them that I would like my subscription to continue. Guess what! They told me "no way" and that despite my circumstances and despite my being a multi year customer, I would have to start over and do the 79.99 initial year subscription. How is that for taking care of your long term customers and recognizing an unusual problem situation? How is that for customer service even remotely caring about their ongoing clients? I was totally shocked by their response to the situation! "Beep, time is up! Pay me like you have never spent a cent on my product and pay me the first year $$ AGAIN!" Trust me, go with GhostSurf and experience a company that recognizes human beings and not just dollars!

    It is a good tool and can be complemented by various free privacy tools available for major browsers. For example, there are privacy add-ons for Firefox that offer extreme customization related to sites users are allowed to visit or what type of online content (active content) can run on your comouter. Thanks

    I have used anonymizer for over two three years. The last year has been a nightmare. My isp logs every single website I go to, while the anonymizer tells me I'm "protected." Have you tried to get support from the anonymizer people? Good luck. After three emails to them, I have yet to receive a response. The new and improved product is a waste of money.

    I have used anonymizer for almost a year so far and I love it. It seemly integrates with my computer and is very fast. It's almost like it's not there but it is....protecting my identity. Anonymizer universal is a wonderful product to protect your identity. It's worth every penny. I recommend it highly if you don't want to be spied on......
