I'm an English guy living in Barcelona Spain. I moved here in 1989 and have been back to London twice on a permanent basis - for work.It's been around 4 years since I moved back here for good! Barcelona is one of those places you'll want to visit more than once. According to one of my former Spanish teachers if you live in Barcelona for around 4 or 5 years, there's no going back! How true!

My trip review, in a nutshell 

Barcelona is just a great place to visit. It's a vibrant city with many things to do. It's quite small when you compare it with London but it has everything crammed in!! The weather's usually very good to fantastic, summers are quite hot and winter's are mild.

Things to do and see in Barcelona

You should not miss the wonderful Gaudi architecture here. My five favourite places are as follows:
La Pedrera
La Casa Batllò
The Gothic Quarter
La Sagrada Familia
El Camp Nou - Barça's football stadium

Readers: Have you been there before? 

A little bit of both I think, although the architecture of this wonderful city has just got to be seen to be appreciated. this city has the most bizarre buildings you have ever seen. the food is great, too. Try the tapas bars for a real treat and you must try pa amb tomaquet.You can try this at lots of restaurants - it's bread - usually fresh crusty bread with juicy fresh tomatoes rubbed on it with olive oil! Doesn't sound like a lot but it's just amazing! Try it.
