Here are some things to note about the new MacBook Air:
It is extremely thin! -- Approximately 0.76 inch thick at the hinge, and 0.16 inch thick at its thinnest point.
It is not cheap! -- Retails for: $1,800 (base price).
It has no CD/DVD drive -- but you can purchase an optional external HD for about $100 extra.
Other specs:
-- 80GB hard drive
-- 2GB of RAM
-- 1.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4 MB shared L2 Cache
-- USB 2.0 port, headphone jack, and a micro-DVI port that supports DVI, VGA, composite, and S-video output

-- Full backlit keyboard
