Welcome to Army Hero!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jim Pierson and I am a retired soldier. My life has always been involved around helping people. With the grace of God I was recently asked to come back and serve again. I proudly accepted the challenge and now I am serving as the Human Resources Supervisor for my old Field Artillery Battalion. It sure feels good to be back with the "Army Family".
I decided to create this site to help you and your "Army Family". I wanted to create a site that would be a one-stop-shop to find any resource you need regarding the Army retired community. I hope I meet your expectations.
IMPORTANT: You will find various links and banners on our site for products and services that I felt would be beneficial to you. I am donating a portion of any proceeds generated by this site to the Army Emergency Relief (AER). AER provides interest free loans and grants for a wide array of assistance to include emergency travel, rent, automotive repair, medical and dental bills, scholarships, as well as financial assistance to soldiers and their families. The Army Hero's first live action. I just wanted to get things started. I am Jim Pierson, the editor and publisher of Army Hero. I am retired from the US Army and now I am still serving as a Department of Defense Civilian. I decided to launch this site to give my brother's in arms a place to call home. A place to share your experiences and thoughts. I want to make this your site. Come here every day if possible. We are going to always be building and improving this site.
