Art Attack is a kids tv programme on CiTV

Art Attack is a programme on CiTV in the UK, CiTV is a kids tv channel which shows kids content programmes at appropriate times for kids to tune in.

Art Attack begun 12 years ago and fastly became a hit with kids of all ages. Obviously, as the title of this programme says it is a show showing kids how to produce amazing art projects at home without the need for adult supervision.

Although the show is aimed primarily at kids from the ages of 5-16 it is also one of those programmes that adults quite enjoy watching too, especially those of us who are interested in arts and crafts as i am as some of the tricks and tips which are shown for creating various art effects are excellent and handy to know.

Meet The Guy Who Introduces Art Attack

Neil Buchanan is the guy who presents Art Attack. Amazingly enough Neil isn't an artist but a musician although all of the projects shown on the programme are his ideas and it is him that shows the kids how to put them into practice with the use of video and step-by-step instructions, indeed he produces some really nice artwork.

Neil has 2 young children of his own who he uses to test each of his ideas before presenting them on Art Attack so he knows that everything he shows will be a big hit with his audience.

Art Attack is available as an interactive art centre on DVD and CD-ROM as well as having their own website which is packed full of art ideas and projects that your children will thoroughly enjoy using time and time again..i know this because my own child has quite a lot of Art Attack products which she recommends to all of her friends, i have to say that these products for me have been some of the best purchases i have ever made for any of my children and worth their weight in gold. My daughter in fact was the one who told me to make this lens which in my eyes just goes to show what a great thing Art Attack is.

This lens has been made due to my 12 year old daughter Bobbi who recommended that i write a lens telling people about Art Attack.

    I really like the art that you show on art attack! im only 9 but when i watch art attack i really want to learn more, thats why im on disney junior, its really cool !!

    Hi & thank you so much to all who have visited this Art Attack lens & a bigger thank you for so many positive comments regarding Art Attack. Unfortunately I have been away from squidoo for almost a year & so have not been able to thank you all personally after each of your comments as I would like to have done & would usually have done. I am now back on squidoo & have discovered that out of all my 40+ lenses Art Attack is the most popular...I owe that to all of you...keep coming as I intend to update this lens as soon as possible for you & hopefully I shall be able to supply the answers to your many Art Attack requests.     A heartwarming lens about such a great kid's programme- I even made my Christmas cards one year using something I learnt on Art Attack! Neil is an inspiring presenter, too. Bring Art Attack back to Bristish TV!

    Your link to Neil's Official Art Attack website automatically goes to a "disney art attack" website. Sooooooo frustrating. I love Neil's ideas and are kid friendly, most of my students are visual learners. Do you now of a way to get around the "disney art attack" or am i plan out of luck. I tried youtube but they only have a few episodes. I'm doing a unit on Ancient Greece and am trying to remember some of his art ideas.:(
    By the looks of other comments, I'm not the only one being redirected by disney. Curse you disney. :)
