"This infant is an orphan that just arrived in July 2008 at the Orangutan Care Center operated by O.F.I. (Orangutan Foundation International.) Notice how she is frantically grasping her own hair for a sense of security - that is how tightly she would be holding on to her mother. Except her mother was killed. Every day new orphans arrive at the Care Center, victims of the illegal pet trade and destruction of the rain forest. Orangutans have finger prints and share three of the same blood types as humans. They are gentle vegetarians. Please join me in making an immediate difference in the world. All profits from the sale of this card will be donated to O.F.I. The world's largest cat, the Amur (formerly known as Siberian) tiger, is one of five subspecies of tigers still in existence today. All five subspecies are threatened with extinction. Three other subspecies have become extinct since 2000. Poachers, habitat destruction, and loss of prey are the major factors leading to the departure of these majestic animals. There are only about 400 Amur tigers living in the wild today.

Animals that do not come in with a name are named by the shelter employees & volunteers. All proceeds from sales will benefit the animals at OKC Animal shelter.
