The Reason I Create Art!

My painting: "Peace I leave with you" John 14:27
was donated to a Texas woman's Ministry Crystal Lyons

It's my purpose in my life!

My purpose to Glorify God with the gift He gave me, having the ability to create art through a medium of choice.

Having survived Cancer I realized that I had a purpose in my life, I prayed about it and found that not using my gift to create would be a waste...this would not Glorify God or Thank Him for my life and my creative ability.

I'm a realist and know I am not the best artist, but I do know I can draw and paint! So by painting I can bring happiness creating stories with visions of images for a living memory...Then when I sell my art I take the proceeds or profit and donate it to my special causes I believe in. Two of my favorite organizations are, the INTOUCH MINISTRY(see my bio for Links here) and WORD FOR THE WORLD plus other organizations that spread the Word of God...I have also included more Animal Welfare Projects and Veteran Org. to my donations..

I have artwork hanging Worldwide and am an Award winning artist, Published and Listed. My artwork has been accepted into the prestigious AAEA (American Academy of Equine Art) HTA (Harness Track of America Auction) EAG (Equine Art Guild) Draft Horse Classic

Choosing to keep my prices affordable for an incredible low amount, is for the purpose of turning the artwork around for a quick sale, so the money is donated for the purpose of intended.

I also donate art for special causes for auctions and events...This usually is after much research of the organization to make sure it is a legitimate and legal.

This painting was done a couple of weeks after I fractured my right wrist. I wanted to participate in the pARTy project, but had a brace on my hand and wrist dealing with pain. I decide I will try painting with my left hand, and this was the outcome...a bit looser and less detailed, but none the less a painting. I thought it turned out nice in a different style.

Madison Mounted Police Benefit Mural

at the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison Wisconsin

Larry Schultz and me

See this Mural done for the Madison Mounted Police at the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison Wisconsin displayed permanently at the Nutrena Arena.

The mural a presentation from the Midwest Horse Fair, designed by my artist friend Larry Schultz, mostly finished off by me with painted individual squares...these were sold for the benefit of the Mounted Police.

These squares were sold to those that wanted to immortalize their horse or horse friend.

One sample of a ghostly image

for those horses that have passed

horse artist Delia

We sold squares with the option of a ghostly figure, colored with or without lettering. I personally liked the ghostly figures the best.

I had to paint these small 6" x 6" squares with the image as described by a horse owner...it was a job indeed, but tried to make the most of it and I must say the panels sold and painted turned out nice.

the one shown here was in the sky...

An image incorporated into the splashing water

This one was a colored version chosen in a darker panel and painted with color

Several years ago I was asked to donated my artistic imagination in creating a design on an old chair and a wooden rocking horse...It was for the Hospital in Columbus, Wisconsin....I must say I enjoyed painting these two items...the chair brought in the highest bid and the rocking horse also had a high bid...I was happy that it was good for the Hospital Benefit.
