Who I am and what I do
My name is Arthur M. Gallagher and I am a IT contractor specializing in infrastructure delivery. I generate simple but creative solutions for smoothing out delivery processes, and I make as much as possible happen automatically. My approach gives solid, quality results because I follow through things methodically and keep notes so anyone can trace my steps. Invite me to tell me what causes you pain around your technology, and I'll show you why people I've worked for before keep coming back to me
I have created this page so that you can find out about me. The page is a lens that collects together information from various sources, which should enable you to get a better understanding of what I do, how I go about it, and what interests me. (If you want to find out more about lenses, please see the very helpful Squidoo FAQ)
My profiles
Here are some other places you can find out more about me
- My LinkedIn Profile
- My business profile on LinkedIn. I typically use LinkedIn for maintaining, contributing to and getting value from a quality network of trusted colleagues.
- My XING profile
- This is my online business networking profile in XING. I tend to use this for open networking, discovering new contacts who can compliment my existing network of colleagues.
- My 15 second pitch
- This is the site that helped me create the 15 second pitch above. I couldn't believe how easy it was to write something simple yet punchy to summarise myself. Why not try their pitch wizard yourself - its easy and it works wonders :-)
- My ZoomInfo web summary
- This site collects information about my and my professional activities from a variety of sources on the web.
My blogs
Here is a list of blogs I have contributed to
- Learning To Network
- This was my first blog. Ahhhhh!
It follows my journey of discovery into the world of online business networking, weblogging and new inter-connective technologies - Station Street Springs
- Architectural ideas generated around the periphery of the programme I work on at Station Street
- Information Dynamics
- This blog traces my research into an area that I understand, deep down in the chasms of my technological mind, but I am still trying to find ways to articulate and communicate
My lenses
My Squidoo is not only about "me"
- Architectural frameworks
- Would you like to know more about what Architectural Frameworks are at your disposal? How would you go about choosing an architectural framework to fit your organisation?
Blogs from people I've worked for
- Annie's european bike adventure
- AOG manages to put her 3 year plans down for a while and whizzes off across Europe by bicycle

I like the fact that when I viewed this page I saw an ad for dancing lessons at the bottom!
