A=Approach

How U Approach it:

Approaching the Title- This is of the utmost importantance to your article. The title you choose should be 'Eye Catching' and appealing to your audience. Think of your target audience, imagine what you would find appealing and what would make you want to continue reading. A title can either hold your readers attention or turn them away. The title is important for your readers but is actually of more important for search engines. This is key for search engine recognition! If you want others to be able to easily find your article you must have a title that the search engines will key into. I know, finding that perfect title can be a difficult task but keep thinking and playing with new ideas and soon you will have a title that rocks!

B=Building

How U Build it:

Building the strength of your article is important! People believe you have complete knowledge of what you are writing about so please be real and genuine. Keep your writing natural , just be yourself and let your own personal style flow into your writing. Everyone's style is a little different and that makes each of us unique in our writing. It is important to keep the article simple and understandable and definitely use correct grammar. There is nothing worse than reading an article and being distracted by spelling errors. Use spellcheck if you're not great with grammar!

C=Content

How U Fill it:

The content of your article should be simple but with excellent quality. The big thing here is try not to stray too far from the topic so that the readers know where the article is headed. Keep your article well organized. Use an introduction followed by several paragraphs and a conclusion. Remember to keep your sentences understandable. Complicated sentences make your message that much harder to comprehend and you risk loosing your reader. By following these guidelines you should be on your way to writing a great article!

Grammar is very important to a writer. Let's face it all of us make mistakes occasionally but some more often than others. It can be a turn off to readers if our grammar is unacceptable.

Some things to watch out for in your writing -

Punctuation - this is a big one as it can change how a sentence reads. Take the apostrophe for example. An apostrophe can be used in two cases.

1) To show possession ( Tim's hat means the hat belongs to Tim)
2) For contractions ( won't for would not)

Choosing the correct word

This seems to be a common mistake.

Your or You're - "Your" is a possessive pronoun as in "your dog" or "your shoe"
"You're" is a contraction for "you are" as in "you're" avoiding the issue! This seems to be a common mistake as well.

Another often misused word in sentences. Watch out for this one!

There or Their - "There" is used as a pronoun (there is no peace) or as a reference to a place (can we go there?)
"Their" is a plural possessive pronoun ( a mouthful) as in "their gifts" or "their ideas"
Decide whether you are talking about more than one person and something that they possess.
