Dale Chihuly has certainly made a name for himself as one of the world's most amazing designers of glass sculptures. He creates mind-boggling pieces with colored glass, that have amazed millions young and old, and exhibited them in several countries. From secluded mountain resorts, to the water filled alleys of Venice; from New York Botanical Gargens, to a bridge in Tacoma Washington, to the Bellagio in Las Vegas - Chihuly's work is gaining interest. Amazing!

Dale Chihuly is about teamwork. Pushing past common notions of studio glass being a one man project, Chihuly uses a team and divided labor to create his masterpieces, and with such a team, projects can be larger and grander then one man could preform.

Dale Chihuly (b. September 20, 1941 in Tacoma, Washington, United States) is an American glass sculptor and entrepreneur.
The Bridge of Glass
The Bridge of Glass in Tacoma Washington leads to the Museum of Glass. The bridge is a a 500-foot-long pedestrian overpass that takes pedestrians through a tunnel of brilliant light and color created by Chihuly's glass forms.
"The bridge is the gateway that welcomes people to Tacoma. We wanted something unique in the world, something that is full of color and offers a joyous experience to passersby both night and day."

Chihuly's exhibit at the Missouri Botanical Gardens was amazing.
Until coming across your lens, I was unfamiliar with any of his other works. He doesn't disappoint does he?
Great lens and very interesting subject. 5 Stars.
By the way this comes from someone whose favorite sculptor is Fredrick Remington. Well, at least he's still my favorite bronze sculptor.
