Yes its an art...

I've approached children's ministry many ways but could never put my finger on is it the makes it work. At the end of the day I think its an art. It's difficult to fully grasp it but we keep learning and doing it because God is guiding us. We can only get better as we are used by Him.

Elements of a Service

Because kids can't come by themselves, we must make it CONVENIENT for kids to come to church.

Then when they step in, the place must be COOL to them.

They must feel COMFORTABLE with the people there.

The programme must not be boring but CAPTIVATING.

The sermon must COMMUNICATE God's Word faithfully.

At the end of the day, the whole service must CONNECT them to Christ to ensure they want to come back for more.
