We usually roast asparagus but your lens has given me a few ideas for other ways to try it. We have a small asparagus patch in our garden. Can't wait to pick some this spring.

Now you have me wishing I had made an asparagus dish for dinner. I love my asparagus sauteed on the stove with butter and garlic. Then, I sprinkle freshly grated parmesan on top. Yum! Thanks for the gardening tips. I hope to grow some asparagus this season. Appreciated!

    Wow what yummy treats!

We just had some for dinner. I'm living in Holland where white asparagus is widely available (at least seasonally) and green asparagus is only bought when the white isn't available. I love both kinds though. Nice lens - lots to look at :-)

We are fortunate enough to have an organic asparagus bed - just wait until next summer and we'll be trying some of this stuff. Thanks!

Asparagus is delicious. I've never tried growing it and not sure the climate is quite right here, but I can buy it in the supermarket so will make to with that.

Of all cooked vegetables, I would have to say that asparagus are my favorites. We eat them about twice a week if we can. My favorite way to eat them is grilled. :)

I have three huge inedible asparagus plants, but my short white dog loves to dig for the green grape like globes that grow just under the top of the soil. I found it interesting to learn about growing asparagus to eat. I do not have the conditions here to do that. Yummm. on the recipes.

Brilliant lens. I am thinking of growing some in my garden - it is a long term thing but they must taste so good just fresh out of the garden. I am looking forward to the asparagus season coming soon

I spent some time living in southern Germany and the surrounding towns always had a week long festival to celebrate the harvest. One recipe that I remember most was asparagus pancakes. Nice lens.

One of my all-time favorite veggies. I always look forward to spring for the fresh asparagus in the produce section of my market. A little olive oil, some lemon juice, a touch of kosher salt and fresh ground pepper, on the grill, de-lish!

Another great lens. Asparagus is one of the few veggies I don't get near BUT, with that said the recipes do look tempting.

I planted a dozen shoots last year and most of them are doing well. We eat a lot of asparagus, mostly Trader Joe's frozen spears. Nicely done... a great resource for the asparagus lover!
