Social Network Marketing

Social Network Marketing is pretty simple really. You speak to the market you want to attract. In order to do that effectively, you have to know your market. It's easier to sell peanuts to a peanut vendor then it is to a hotdog vender!

Who Is Your Market?

If you are going to try to attract Friends and Family, also known as you're Warm Market, to your business opportunity; then ask yourself what do you know about them? Are they looking for a business opportunity? If so, are they looking at network marketing or MLM, (Multi Level Marketing), franchises, contracting, what?

If they are not looking for a business opportunity, then they really aren't your warm market after all. They may be your warm and cuddly loved ones, but that doesn't make them a warm and receptive market. From my experience, they are a very cold market and a hyper critical one to boot.

But let's say that you have a friend or family member that is already in network marketing and that they have a list of people that they do business with, known as their down-line. Or maybe you know someone that is looking at franchises, or at starting a business.

This Is Your Warm Market!

These are prospects that see the VALUE of being in business. They are looking for a business they can AFFORD to start. They are your WARM market.

These are the people that you want to recruit for your network marketing opportunity. These prospects tend to be more open minded and more approachable. It will take less effort to show them the win-win proposition your opportunity has to offer.

If you can recruit one or two people you know, GREAT! That's a start. But now let's take what you have learned and expand your warm market.

Go Fish!

Let's say that your business is like fishing. You go fishing with a boat and a fishing pole. You know there are hundreds of fish all around you. You also know that there are several different kinds, but you prefer to catch only one kind of fish. You hope to catch five of your favorite fish today. So you fish all day and you bring in assorted catches and throw back the ones you don't want.

Now you are ready to call it a day and pack up and go home. You look at your catch and have two perfect specimens. Maybe not the five you wanted but two is doing pretty good.

But let's say you went fishing with a net instead. You spend a couple of hours netting. You bring in hundreds of fish, and a couple of turtles, crabs and assorted other treasures that you don't want. In that time you caught ten of your favorite fish and you decide you have five more then you wanted. Great! You put five in the freezer to save for another time!

Social Networking is like a net that catches everything. But what if our net could release everybody that had no interest in our offer? With Attraction Marketing built in, our net can now filter out the uninterested and keep those that are and lead them to where they can get more information.

Are You Caught Yet? Want To Learn More?

If there was just one thing I wish I'd learned when I first got started in network marketing it would have been this: I didn't need to chase down anyone to get them to join my business. After doing the whole "names list/3 foot rule" thing, I finally discovered how to have people come to me! Click on
