Me and My Lenses
No, that picture is not me, though my cat 'helps' type most lenses so it seems fair that she should have a photo op. I just really liked the picture. A lensography tells you about a lensmaster's lenses, right? My lens topics are diverse, so just in case you are interested in one topic and not another, you can use this lensography to find related lenses without seeing the whole smorgasbord.
Azareal on Squidoo
I'm a scientist and writer. Squidoo is something special because I can write about anything here. I really like that! Yeah, I could write about anything from my personal blog or site, too, but I like lenses because you can create something and build on it over time much more easily than if you wrote an article. Also, I like the community interaction. If you have something to say about one of my lenses, say it! Sign the guestbook, sound off, offer suggestions. I welcome your input.
How I create my lenses
So far my lenses are about science (especially growing crystals), making your own natural health and beauty products, making jewelry, cats, and recipes. There are a few other lenses thrown in for good measure. I've barely even touched on my interests. I like to write how-to lenses most of all. My Science Lenses
I've got a Ph.D. in biomedical science and bachelor degrees in physics and math with a whole lot more science education and background. I've been a research scientist and a college science professor. I still do research sometimes, though mainly my present-day science work is as a consultant.
There is a counter in my kitchen that we have named The Countertop of SCIENCE. I test and photograph science projects there. My yard has been set on fire more times than my neighbors would care to count. I'm a science geek girl, what can I say...
