Custom Picture Framing for 45 Years

Azteca Picture Frame Company is a Custom Picture Framing shop in Burbank, California owned by Arthur Duggan.I've been in the Picture Frame business for 45 years now. When I started I was strictly a wholesale picture frame dealer. I used to travel around selling our frames. Eventually the owner returned to Mexico and I bought the company from him.

For a while we were a wholesale picture frame shop in North Hollywood until the industry changed and we became a small Custom Picture Frame Shop. My son grew up in the shop starting out as an infant being carried on my ex-wife's back in a little papoose. We specialize in framed mirrors, stretching canvas, poster framing and as well Art.

Sky, my business partner is also an artist and showcases his photography in the shop - he also does framing for all the regular customers.

I do a lot of picture framing for the Studios in and around Burbank/Hollywood but also do small jobs for the little guy who just wants great art in their home.

Welcome and I hope to work with you soon.

Customer Review

Art the owner does excellent work. He is honest, sees the color schemes of things and I've been going there for yrs, family business, just him and his wife. He will suggest, brings out colors, frames and he always knows the right frame color. This guy is the best!

Framed Art

I recently got my new posters framed by Azteca Frame Company in Burbank. Sadly, it is hard for me to get a good picture because of the glare from the glass and the odd shape of the apartment. I am really happy and excited about my new wall art and am pleased with the framing. Here are a few of them:

A Yelp Review of Azteca Frame

This place is awesome! If you want a custom/ unique job, then go see Art! He's the man! Has an incredible vision and can give you some awesome ideas. The work has always come out perfect. The prices are low and the service is amazing. I would make sure you have plenty of time before getting your job evaluated, cause Art likes to explore different options- I usually have my posters framed by him, but I've also had other projects created there too. I highly recommend Azteca frame - Especially for you poster collectors! I've taken him some high end posters and have never had any issues.

Custom Frames VS Discount Store Frames

Give your Opinion

Have you ever used a Picture Framer to assist you in framing your photos or art? Maybe you prefer to go to the local discount store to purchase ready made dollar frames... Which ever you prefer We would like to KNOW!

I prefer to take my art to a Frame Shop. I enjoy choosing the Mat and the Moulding to complement the piece.

I think it's easier to just go to the local store and buy the cheap frames. It's all the same to me.

Child's Art Frame Box

Lil Da Vinci

Lil Davinci Art Cabinet 8 1/2 x 11 Black

Amazon Price: $29.95 (as of 05/25/2012)Buy Now

This is a really awesome piece from Lil Da Vinci. You can store up to 100 pieces of your child's art work in the box while displaying their Recent art for all to see. Believe me when kids start creating you will have more than 100 pieces in your 'Gallery'.

This is the perfect solution to the age old question, 'Which should I keep and hang and which should I store away or gasp 'Trash'?"

All you do is store the older pieces in the box behind and the Current piece is displayed in the glass in front. Let your child decide which is shown and which is kept - make a little learning lesson out of it - teach them that we can't keep everything but we can choose the best and most meaningful to display. As they take an active role in displaying their art you will see them making clearer decisions on which is 'trash' and which is truly 'Da Vinci' worthy.
