Relationships and networking
There are many things you have to do to be successful in a business. Building by simply doing a great job usually does not work. Why? As Dr. Misner points out, people are 10 times more likely to talk about a bad experience than a good one.So what can you do?
Networking is a key. Unfortunately, many of us think networking is what we do when we have to look for a job. We meet people who can help us get a job.
BNI is not that kind of network. Our motto is "Givers gain." Come to meetings to give referrals to other business people you know and trust.
We limit membership in a group to one business from any category. Members meet one to one to learn about each other, learn what is a good referral, and help each other build our businesses.
We are here to learn to network and to improve our networking skills.
