Why Do I Need a Baby Nursing Pillow? 

There are many Baby Nursing Pillows available in the shops and online.

They are used to support the mothers back while she is breastfeeding. Its very important that the mother retains good posture during breastfeeding or she will find herself having back and neck pain.

Baby needs to be at the correct height and placement while breastfeeding otherwise there can be problems with incorrect feeding leading to sore and cracked nipples. The Baby Nursing Pillows help with this and can be a great comfort to both MOm and Baby.

When buying a Baby Nursing Pillow make sure you will be able to get it on and off with one hand while holding the baby. Sometimes baby goes to sleep while feeding and you don't want to wake him up, whilst trying to get the nursing pillow off.

Much nicer than the boppy, because it doesn't slip off. The velcro is noisy, when you have to take it off, but you can always put sleeping baby down, leave the room and then take it off. The fabulous thing about this, is you could even walk around and nurse! The firm platform is a really secure place to position baby, though a football hold is difficult except for the smallest. But then in a football hold, your arm is required to do the job in any case. Also the generous size of the platform worked for my extremely large chest size which just balooned after baby. The boppy just slipped off and didn't clear my chest.

I especially appreciated that back support in the small of my back and it complemented my dutailier rockers shape perfectly when that extra support for the small of your back comes in handy. The washable cover is fantastic and my first one, lasted, me, and s-i-l through three babies and several years.
