Baby Knit Patterns Can Be Intimidating...or Are They?
B
aby knit patterns can be intimidating to some people, especially if you are new to knitting. They may seem too delicate or you may feel you are all thumbs and how could you possibly make this tiny thing. Well get over that, nothing could be further from the truth.
Baby knit patterns are the easiest and best thing to start with. Because they are small you don't have to worry about wasting a lot of yarn. The worst case scenario is that you mess up and just want to throw it away, well it's only a couple of skeins. But let me assure you, you are not going to need to throw it away. But Yarn can get expensive, what with all the gorgeous choices out there these days, so working with a small amount is very comforting for a new knitter.

I Like Immediate Gratification, Don't You?

B
aby knit patterns is that you can make them as complicated or simple as an adult pattern. But they will be completed in a quarter of the time. Logistics alone, it takes a lot less time to knit say 2000 stitches vs. 40,000 stitches, see what I mean. It is just going to take you less time.
And I guarantee that once you finish your first project you will feel so accomplished and your confidence level will be on the ceiling. And you have just made the most gorgeous precious little baby knit pattern in the world.
Now I don't have a thing against adult patterns, I knit them sometimes myself. I just really prefer the Baby knit patterns because they are so cute, so quick and so useful.

- Oh it's lovely Susan. Brings back memories of a very complicated baby cardigan I knitted for my 2nd child. I'm not a knitter, so it was hard for me to do but passed the time whilst I was pregnant. I made the most beautiful, tiny little garment...then had a 9lb baby that was too big for it LOL!! 5*****
