These background checks will not only tell you these things about your criminal, address, and other history, but they will also let you find out things that you may not have even known, or have forgotten about.

Someone may send you an e-mail stating that they're considering hiring you for a position at this prestigious company, and they need to make sure that you're background checks out. They will request all of the information about you so that they can do more research into your history, but this could also be a scam.

You can search through the Better Business Bureau, other company registries, and even the individual, and find out if their background check comes out with who and what they say they are.

This scam, although possible, can be prevented if you look into as many records as possible to find out their true history. These steps are vital to providing you with proper security for yourself and your family.
