It's not often you can get drumming artists from different companies and different regions to come together for the same cause: to help any learning drummer with lessons to advance that student to make drumming a career. Well, Badassdrumming.com has done just that. Spaun Drums endorsed jazz drummer, Ricky Malichi and Promark drumsticks endorsed artists Art Avila and Frank Gonzalez have come aboard to help anyone that wants to learn drums and percussion. This is not just how to play a drumset site. You can learn mallets, tympani, marching drums, hand drums and all of the fun 'other' percussion toys, too. The site is still in it's infancy and new stuff keeps getting added to it.

We will be bringing info and lessons soon on Pans (steel drums). Since percussion and drums cover so many different instruments in it's category there needs to be lessons available on technique for it all. And we plan to deliver all of this.

Because Badassdrumming.com is an educational website (Free to join) we also offer other educational information through the site. Want to further your education and go to college? We have resources to help you with this. The site is looking to be a portal for all college bound drummers and percussionists.

As the site grows the number of companies and endorsed artists list will grow. This will be the opportunity for students to reach those artists that, at one time, could only be reached if they lived in the same area and had a connection to them. This site becomes the access and connection for all students to reach those artists.

With plans to use a social networking site that offers forums, profiles, audio and video uploads and more, one can create a great ongoing resume, starting from their learning days and be able to keep an ongoing list of growth that can be the boost to getting that big gig one day. Since the site's blog is timestamped that keep a chronological entry of events that will be part of your drumming resume. A real is way to stay in the loop and keep yourself in the know to all musical venues by someone searching for such. Since it will be search engine friendly you get listed with your info and when someone is looking for certain traits you possess, bingo, they will find you and offer you the gig.

Besides linking drummers to lessons badassdrumming.com will also be a site where anyone can get answers to questions of the trade. In hopes to becoming a drumming wikipedia of sorts so anyone with a question can get an answer.
