I went looking for a Bakugan Starter Pack and had a little trouble because these toys are so poplular that the manufaturer was having a little trouble keeping up with all the demand, fortunately for me there was another wave of these toys on the shelves at the begginning of the fall.
Right now these toys are the hottest selling toy on the market. Bakugan toys will be THE TOY TO HAVE this season, Ive already noticed the prices starting to climb as everyone rushes the stores to get some for their kids before they sell out.
My review, in a nutshell
What is Bakugan?Bakugan is a children's cartoon that shows on the Cartoon Network. Kind of like Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Yo, the characters go around battling with their "Bakugan" that come out of their playing cards as small balls and turn into powerful creatures.
In real life Bakugan are little action figures that morph small plastic marbles when they land on "gate" playing cards. Each figure comes with a metallic card that has a point value. A point value is also imprinted on the figure.
A magnetic lock in the toy is triggered to open when the figure is placed onto a metallic gate card which causes the toy to change.
