    Thanks for the tips, I've been eyeing up bamboo yarn in my local craft store and wondering whether to risk it. Now I know enough to make my choice. Great lens.

    I knew they used Bamboo in all sorts of building materials, but I didn't know about the yarn. I'm going to try some on my next crochet project. Thanks.

    Bamboo is eco-friendly as it belongs to the grass family. I have not used bamboo yarn yet, but have used soy yarn and wool yarn for felting. Thanks for sharing.

    Oh yes, Bamboo is so eco because it is so sustainable, while improving the surrounding environment. Very interesting lens about bamboo yarn - I wish it had been available when my Mum used to knit :)

    I Like Bamboo! It's a great eco material. I'm also a big fan of Hemp and created a squidoo page of hemp based clothing products too!
