Basketball DVDs And Basketball News
My love for basketball started in 1985-86 I was 12 or 13 years old. Before that I was tall lanky uncoordinated 6'3 man child. My cousin Juan who five nothing you beat me and verbally abuse me when we played against one another. Once I started to understand the game of it was no stopping me.I discovered in my 8th grade middle school game that I was going to be a good defensive player a player came into the from the opposing and I smacked that ball in the stands and all I heard was oooooos and ahhhhhs. That was it for me I was hooked that was the start of my basketball addiction.
High School Coaches
In the fall of 1987 I entered high school. On my fathers recommendation I attended Martin Luther King Jr. High School. My first choice was Pershing High. I idolized one of their former players Steve Smith who off to Michigan State University and played ball in the NBA. The reason for not attending Pershing High was because my Dad had boyhood feuded with Pershing Coach Johnny Golhston that until adulthood. My Dad was afraid that coach would miss treat me. To my knowledge Coach Golhston did not know I was my Dad son. Hell he liked me because I was 14 and built like grown man. I will be chronicling my high school basketball experience over the next few weeks remember to always to comment, rate, and appreciate my post get more up dated basketball dvds newHERE
