Children of all ages love to play with beads. Collecting them can also be addictive. Whether you desire the smallest Japanese delica beads in a range of colours, or the most beautiful glass art beads - there are many places to find them on the internet. A few of my favourites are listed below.
The simple amulet purse pictured here is made with two different sizes of delica beads in sea green- and the fringing is embellished with real silver and turquoise beads. I've also made this up in two colours of copper delica- matte and shiny - with amber beads in the fringe and necklace.

- Anne Choi Bead Artist
- Anne Choi makes the most beautiful, limited edition hand cast silver beads. They have beautiful hand carved designs of flowers, birds, insects and all- and some have inspiring quotations. Collect the ones that speak to you and create your own necklace to meditate on.
- Robin Atkins
- I learned to bead peyote stitch from Robin- albeit at a great distance. She particpated ina bead swap I organised on the Crazy Quilting email list- and sent everyone a lovely package containing instructions to make some simple beaded beads. Her website is lovely, her books are inspirational- and she's a great teacher.
