Elena’s World – 5 Beautiful Songs that Uplift and Inspire me

This song gives me hope. It reminds me that miracles can happen. It doesn't matter our religion. There is no one on earth who can't point to a time in their life when something special happened. Well, it can happen again. So, this song helps change my mindset and get rid of all those doubts and negativity. If only I can be positive and believe miracles can happen. Positive thoughts attract, positive things.

No matter what the situation is, I can get through it. It might be raining, but the sun will shine again soon as it has in past times. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

I haven't got any kids yet but listening to this encourages me that some day I'll have a little Angel and I'd be able to sing this song to him./her. Most of the things I hope for in my child are in this song. Maybe I could even turn it into a lullaby.

This song reminds me that I can do whatever I believe I can. It kind of reminds me of a book I read by Norman Vincent Peale. "You can if you think you can".

Also, I once read a quote that said "You may shoot me with your words,You may cut me with your eyes...but still, like air, I'll rise."

I recall a distant memory in the 70s, when my brother and I used to hold hands with my mum dancing to the Carpenters in our Living room. They were one of her favourite artists and I can actually sing nearly all the Carpenter songs up to now. I used to sing along with the lyrics on the album cover, so they're just stuck in my head.

Top of the world is a love song but I also see it as a happy song.. I love the chorus especially the bit where it goes "Tooop" (high note) and then doooown (with very deep voices). Love singing along too. I think my neighbours have now bought earplugs.
