The affiliate marketers that can so completely outsell the rest of the field are considered Super Affiliates. While there is no preset way to acquire that badge, there are some ways that you can sell more than the average marketer.

The average affiliate marketer will try to sell via these avenues:

* With a Pay per click campaign that leads directly to the seller's site through the affiliate link (or a cloaked link).

* Write dozens of articles about the product and distribute them to the online article directories and publishers.

* Write a press release describing the benefits of the product or site and send them to online press release publishers.

* Add affiliate links to signature (sig) files with short classifieds to EVERY piece of outgoing correspondence.

The super affiliate will likely incorporate these basic methods into their daily activities.

However, the super affiliate often does much more, like:

* Create a side business that compliments the product or service. For example, a super affiliate for a software product might sell guides with accompanying audio/video tutorials on how to best set up and use the software. He or she may also sell update services, setting up and performing regular maintenance on the clients' purchase.

* Ask the Source Vendor to set up a two tier affiliate program structure, if they don't already have one. Then the super affiliates will focus not only on sales, but on recruiting other affiliates into their downlines so that additional revenue can be regularly generated from the sales of the affiliate marketers in the downline.

* Set up an efficient sales system that includes a completely unique website, forum, blog combination, product review areas, forums, articles, etc. Giving it the attention it needs to grow over time. These super affiliates don't sell only the main product, but compatible products of their own and the affiliate products of others too. They'll have autoresponders with lead capture forms to instruct, cross sell, up sell to one time offer sales, ask for referrals, use survey questions that can attract visitors and so much more.
