Home stay New Delhi
is a concept wherein bed and breakfast accommodation is an owner-occupied private home where the business of paying guests is secondary to its use as a private residence.

The rooms at Inn at Delhi
are spacious, well appointed, taste fully furnished, spotlessly clean with marble flooring, air-conditioned and with en-suite bathrooms with western toilets.

Incredible India

Incredibly Incredible India

Incredible !ndia Promo. For those people who requested the meaning of the song. "Sā - Ni - Dha - Pa - Pa Dha - Pa - Ga - Sa - Ri Sa - Sa - Ga - Pa - Dha Dha - Pa - Ga - Ri - Ga Sā - Ni - Dha - Pa - Pa Dha - Pa - Ga - Sa - Ri Sa - Sa - Dha - Pa - Dha Dha - Pa - Ga - Sa - Sa" "sa-ri-ga-ma-pa-dha-ni" is [somewhat] equivalent to western "do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti" India, being the birth place of many "divine seven" concepts (like seven sages, seven virgins, 2x7 different levels of this cosmic world, seven cyclic notes of music, etc.), defines [as per Carnatic music tradition] these notes as follows: Fixed/immovable notes (1st & 5th) Sa (Sadjam) represents Paramāthmā, the superior being or the source of all energies Pa (Panchamam) represents Jīvāthmā, worldly beings (to generalize, planetary beings, including humans) Other varying/movable notes Ri (Rishabham), Ga (Gāndhāram), Ma (Madhyamam), Dha (Dhaivatam) and Ni (Nishādam) represent the five elements of the cosmos. Clearly, Sā-Ni-Dha-Pa-Pa (the divine seven musical notes) speaks of music, melody or harmony of life. "Athithi dévo bhava" is a part of Taittirīya (deals with 'from food to joy') Upanishad "Mãtru dévo bhava, Pitru dévo bhava, Ãchãrya dévo bhava, Athithi dévo bhava". Means Mother, Father, Guru/Teacher and Guests (athithi) are divine, should be revered as God.

Taj Mahal Reflection in Ganges

Homestay New Delhi

Home stay New Delhi is a concept wherein you stay with a family in a private residence. Home stay helps you come across land, people, culture and cuisine of a place in its pristine elements unlike hotel accommodation. These Homes have their own history and stories to tell, run by the families who have inherited the culture and hospitality.

Bed and Breakfast based on the Home stay concept are a better alternative than staying in a boring hotel as they offer an insight into the culture of the people, their beliefs and practices.

Home stay New Delhi gives you an alternative to relax and mingle with other nationalities and get to know their culture, culinary skills and cuisine, get away from the maddening crowd and have a holiday at your own pace - all the while learning about how people in different parts of the world live and go about their lives.

Places to See in Delhi

Red Fort - Lal Quila

Red Fort ( Also called as Lal Quilla, in Hindi and Urdu)- Red Fort was made in 1639, when Emperor Shah Jahan, of the Mughal Dynasty, decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi. Within eight years, Shahjahanabad was completed with the Red Fort - Delhi's seventh fort - ready in all its magnificence to receive the Emperor. Though much has changed with the large-scale demolitions during the British occupation of the fort, its important structures have survived. The Red Fort is one of the most visited Tourist Attractions in New Delhi.

* It is called the "Red" Fort - as it is made up of Red Sandstone.

* The Yamuna River used to flow right next to it and was thought to act as a deterant to invading armies.

* The Indian Prime Minister addresses the nation from its pulpit on the Indian Independence Day, i.e 15th August. India gained independence from the British on 15th August 1945.
