Beverly ~ Sudden Valley is definitely the best value in Bellingham right now. Yes, it is a buyers market right now. It seems that prices have come down a little bit and there are a lot more homes available to buyers. In regard to foreclosures, the number of monthly foreclosures has doubled for Whatcom County. I was recently talking to a title rep and she told me that the number of monthly foreclosures has increased from 30 to 60. Thanks for your comment and 5 stars!

My husband and I bought our first home up here in Bellingham 2 years ago. Before moving up here 6 years ago, we had a 2400 sq ft home in Colorado. It cost $80,000. We were both quite blown away when we started looking at homes around Bellingham with a lot less sq footage and several hundred thousand dollars more! Wow!
We did manage to find one here in Sudden Valley we absolutely love!
I am curious, Ryan, with foreclosures going on all over and big news about the housing market, do you think it is a buyers market up here or a sellers market? Are the buyers getting what they are asking for or are they having to come down in their asking prices?

Hello there Bellinham looks like a beautiful place. I like your lens very cool, I live in michigan its not as nice as there, I have lived here almost all my life. I always wanted to go somewhere and live that is breath taking. I just have all my family here so that makes it tough. You are blessed to have a beautiful community there.
