Ben 10 Omnitrix & Other Real Watches
If your child loves Ben 10 they will need one of the various Omnitrix watches to enhance their role play fun. The Omnitrix is no ordinary watch but is in fact the alien selection device that Ben uses to call up one of his alter egos when he is in danger. As well as a number of toy versions of the Omnitrix there are a few normal Ben 10 wrist watches to choose from. In this lens you will find out the differences between them.
Deluxe Omnitrix
This is the toy from the original Ben 10 series so is black and chunky and can be used to view aliens on its LCD screen. It also features a battle game where players have to select the right alien to fight the baddie before time runs out. Its great look as a role play toy and the added feature of a small video type game make this the best Omnitrix toy of the range.

Omnitrix FX and Alien Viewer
Both of the above Omnitrix watch toys are also from the original series but are far inferior models to the Deluxe version. The Omnitrix FX does have lights and sounds like the Deluxe but you can only view small alien silhouettes on the watch face. The Alien Viewer is even worse in that it has no lights or sounds. All you do is insert some viewing disks under the watch face to try and view the 1cm images if you have a strong light source to point it at.

Ultimate Omnitrix
There are two series of Ben 10 and this Ultimate Omnitrix is from the Alien Force sequel. The Ben 10 Omnitrix changes between the two series to a green version that contains different aliens. This is another good choice of toy to buy as it is the most up to date in the range. It no longer has a game to play but does come with a mini action figure to attach to the face of the watch. This looks like the holographic image that children are used to seeing in the cartoon when Ben chooses his alien. You can buy more mini figures with the 10cm action figures!

Omnitrix Projector
The Omnitrix Projector is another green toy from the Alien Force sequel. As well as being used as a role play toy it also projects images onto the wall of popular Ben 10 aliens. You need the projection disks to make this happen - three of which come with the toy, each containing five pictures. The disks are just placed onto the face of the watch and then the light source button is pressed. To change the image you just click round the disk and there is added fun with the ability to change the light colour to one of three choices. Ben 10 Omnitrix Watch
The last of the toy versions is this Ben 10 Omnitrix watch which has fairly limited playability other than being a good role play accessory. Once again this is the black form of the Omnitrix from the original series but is smaller than the other toys so is better for young fans with smaller wrists. It comes with 10 alien disks that are interchangeable and glow in the dark. Childs Watch
Moving onto the real watches, we have this child's wrist watch that has a standard watch face with two hands and the hours marked cleared. The Ben 10 theme comes from a picture of Ben on the face of the dial and the logo on the watch strap. The strap is quite long so may need a few extra holes before it fits but the overall quality of this watch is good and it is water resistant. Flip Top Watch
A real watch that is a bit more fun than the child's watch is this flip top watch. The 'flip tops' are actually made of the popular aliens Greymatter, Heatblast and Four Arms and when they are lifted the LCD time display is revealed. The aliens are interchangeable to keep the interest levels up and the strap is covered in bright Ben 10 pictures as well. This watch is probably better for younger children as the lid may become an annoyance for older children that check the time more often. Ben 10 Watch & Clock Set
This would make a great gift for a Ben 10 fan as it includes both a digital display wrist watch and a table clock. Both are covered in cool Ben 10 graphics and the clock is a very strange, alien like shape. Other Currently Popular Boys Toys
