Ben's First Garden
Having my son have his own garden was my husband's idea. He thought it would give him something to do, and something for him to be proud of when it's done. My husband talked him into a vegetable garden. It wouldn't have been my choice, but he is a boy after all.

Yes, we are still doing the garden. Three years in a row now. This year, he has decided that he wants corn, green beans, strawberries, watermelon and blackberries. The blackberries and watermelon, we will have to plant outside of the garden, because it's just not big enough. You can watch what happens right along with us.. The Garden's Evolution

Stay Tuned

Make sure you stay tuned to find out what happens. Will this garden be a success, a failure, or somewhere in between? You'll know as soon as we do.
It's only March 13th, so we can't do anything with the garden yet. We might still get some frost. We have our choices for what's going in it picked out. That's the first step right?.

- Great idea for a lens. Good luck to you and your son. Not much in gardening myself. Keep forgetting the important stuff like watering... go figure.

- I'm right behind you both. Once you have transplanted, make sure you keep the soil moist until such time as they have taken and best of luck.
